Sector Specific Practice

This training provides trauma-informed knowledge and practical skills for professionals working with individuals and families who have experienced domestic and family violence (DFV). Participants will develop a deeper understanding of complex trauma and how experiences of DFV can impact wellbeing, behaviour and relationships.

General practitioners and primary care providers are an important point of contact for people living with the impacts of complex trauma. This training supports practitioners to strengthen their understanding of complex trauma, recognise the many ways it presents in primary care, and respond with greater confidence, sensitivity, and awareness.
